Rotarians at Work Day - Chollas Creek trail Enhancement and Clean-up with Hoover Interacts

Chollas Parkway North and Boyce Lane

Clearing debris from creek and surrounding areas, delineating the trail with logs, trimming bushes that are encroaching on the trail, removal of invasive plants and spreading mulch on path. Five volunteers are needed to work alongside 50 Hoover Interacts. Beatriz Valencia is the coordinator.

San Diego Rotary Spring Tennis Tournament

We are excited to announce that our Spring Tennis Tournament will be held:

Wednesday, May 14th, 5:00 pm at the Barnes Tennis Center in Point Loma.

The cost is $25, with most of the proceeds going as a donation to benefit Barnes Tennis Center's youth tennis program.

This is a doubles tournament in which you are randomly paired with multiple players during the tournament. If you have not played in the tournament before, please know that we have participants of all skill levels, our format is great for players of all abilities. We will again conclude our tournament with a social hour of beverages and snacks.

Note: This event does not qualify for an attendance make-up.

SD Central Library and e3 Civic High School Tours

This is a Grotarian event.

There will be two tours with a social hour in between. Cost is $30 per person. 50 attendees max.

Check-in 4:15

4:30-5:30 The first tour will be of the e3 Civic High located on the 6th and 7th floor of the library.

5:30 - 6:30 Social Hour - heavy hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served

6:30 - 7:30 Central Library tour

Guests are welcome. If you do not wish to attend the first tour, please notify the Rotary office. Costs remains the same for one tour.
